A planned exhibition shows design themes not featured at the permanent exhibition and related remains that provide unique attractions to citizens. The exhibition is held once or twice each year, and there have been two previous exhibitions; one in 2013 (Breakthrough, the trace of 50 years) and in 2014 (The Main Artery of History, Yeongnamdaero Bridge).
International exchange exhibitions are held once every year that introduces rare artifacts of overseas famous museums, such as 2013 (Pomosa, Culture of Taiwan) and 2014(Exhibitions of Products of the Maritime Province in Russia, Primo Rijeka).
