Earthenware in the shape of a duck(Busan Bokcheoncheon-dong Ancient Tombs No. 86)
-
- From the tombs in the eras of Ancient Gaya and Silla many items of earthenware in the shape of a duck or a bird have been excavated. On the back of the body is an opening looking like a cylinder connected to the tail side, through which opening you can pour a liquid and the likes. This earthenware matches well with Byeon Jin-Jo’s writing included in the SAMGUKJI WIJI DONGIJEON, which reads ‘The Gaya people not only wish that the deceased would fly in the sky but also have a belief that a bird would guide the soul of the deceased to the other world.’

Branch Bell(Busan Bokcheoncheon-dong Ancient Tombs No. 22)
-
- From the Bokcheoncheon-dong Tombs No. 22 a bronze branch bell with 7 bells dangled from a handle was excavated. A bell looking like counters has 4 holes in the shape of an oval, and as a small ball is in each hole, the bell rings when we swing it. As a piece of wood is inside the handle, it seems to have been used by putting it in a long handle.
